Yen does a fabulous job of cutting and layering my hair which no other stylist was ever able to accomplish for me in years, she's also very knowledgeable and a good listener. She knows how to work with different types of hair and make clients look their best. I have been going to Yen for over 6 years and have always been happy with her work. I am sensitive about my hair but she is a stylist and colourist that I trust. I only need to show her a picture of what I want and with her recommendations she helps me decide on whether a style or colour will suit me. She has helped me change my style from long to mid length a-line bob and my hair from black to ash blonde. It is a difficult task to lighten dark hair to an ashy colour and often it takes several lengthy appointments to achieve the desired result. However, Yen was able to achieve beautiful results it in a fraction of the time saving me time and money. More importantly she is a person with integrity. There was some miscommunication about how I wanted the colouring done and Yen fixed the problem in a subsequent appointment no questions asked. I always appreciate her work and her person! Verve Hair Design is the best! I have thick long hair and not many know how to work with hair like mine. Yen is an artist. She not only has vision but is an expert in cut and colour. The atmosphere is wonderful. Always feel calm and at home. Fully recommend this salon.
